Perlite
A form of igneous rock, consisting of glassy globules, used in plant growth media. Improves aeration and modifies the soil substructure – keeping it loose, well-drained and defying compaction.
Benefits include:
- Retains a relatively high moisture content
- Improves aeration

- Great for rooting cuttings - fosters much stronger root formation than those grown in water alone
